Our internationally active family business has been producing specialty products for the processing industry since 1936.
Today, we are the European market leader in torque sealants and also sell anaerobic threadlockers, our innovative TAGGR® marking system and accessories for all products.
These products are now used in over 140 different industries. These include the automotive industry, underwater and surface navigation, the aviation and aerospace industry, the rail and railroad industry, the electronics industry, mechanical engineering and precision mechanics.
Our aim is to offer our customers continuous added value through ongoing innovation and consistently high quality.

Lackfabrik Bäder was founded in 1936 by Paul Bäder and initially focused on the production of furniture varnishes. After the Second World War, it was continued by Georg Martin and Kurt Pflanzer, who now focused more on the production of industrial coatings, which ultimately led to the development of torque sealants in 1962.
In 1974, Gernot Pflanzer took over the management from his retiring father and successfully led the company into the 21st century. In 2017, Anke Pflanzer and Moritz Storch became the new managing directors and placed a stronger focus on the internationalization of distribution channels and the expansion of the product range, with a particular focus on sustainable and environmentally friendly products. Michael Pflanzer took over the management of the company from his wife Anke Pflanzer in 2023
